On Tuesday, June 2nd, you are invited to attend a virtual workshop designed to provide youth with a unique experience exploring concepts outlined in our Money and Youth resource. The workshop will focus on goals and decision making, planning for the future, banking, saving and the use of credit, budgeting to reach a goal, careers including entrepreneurship and the decision making around obtaining and paying for post-secondary education. There will be time devoted to the realities of the post COVID19 world, and a question and answer session following the workshop. The workshop will include instructions on how to access and use CFEE resources easily and effectively as high school graduates deal with social isolation and continuing learning at home, and the steps needed to prepare for post-secondary school while schools are closed, and plans for a Fall Semester are shaky at best. This workshop will be presented by Kevin Maynard, VP of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, and hosted on the Zoom videoconferencing platform.
