Virtual Workshop for Teachers and Parents of Secondary School Students - Financial Literacy for Your Kids
On Friday, May 29th, you are invited to attend a virtual workshop designed to provide a toolkit that Teachers and Parents of Secondary School Students can use to help build financial literacy capabilities for their kids. The resources covered in this workshop are intended to assist Teachers, Parents and Youth with virtual and at-home learning activities during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand this is a pressing issue for many, and have arranged to provide this workshop on Friday, May 29th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm EST, in order to get this information and help to you in a timely manner.

This session will provide a primer on transitioning from in-class learning to virtual classrooms, and explore a range of strategies and resources designed to assist Teachers and Parents in helping their Youth make informed decisions about money matters. Attendees will explore a host of financial challenges that occur as young people experience life events, including making decisions in a post-pandemic world. Participants will receive free resources to assist in their journey.

This workshop will be presented by Kevin Maynard, VP of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, and hosted on the Zoom videoconferencing platform.
